Gucci Cruise 2018 at Pitti Palace, Florence
Location for the fashion show are one of the
most important thing element for the collection. It’s show how the collection
bonding and get along with the collection as well. Location can be an
inspirations for every detail for the designer and interpreted them into a
fashion pieces.
That how Alessandro Michele, the creative
director of Gucci taken the Renaissance era to be his inspirations. And the he
was mixing them with pop culture, “the know” and ensemble everything together
look chic and modern without losing the renaissance essence for the Gucci
cruise 2018 collection.
Alessandro take the Palatina Gallery, the main
gallery in Pitti Palace, Florence, Italy as the show venue. This gallery full
of a Renaissance art pieces like Raphael, Titian, Perugino, Correggio, Peter
Paul Rubens and Pietro da Cartona. The character of this gallery supposed to be
a private gallery, because the Pitti Palace it use to be a private house of the
Medici family. The family who lived in mid-century and rules the city.
The Gucci cruise 2018 collection take almost
the inspirations from the painting, sculpture, color and printing. It’s a celebration
of color and texture, software and hardware, long and short, modern and vintage
everything in between.
